Federal loan help city business expand

With the help of a FedDev loan, Casasanta, a manufacturer and custom builder of a range of bakery equipment and accessories, added 16,500 square feet of production space, which includes a new automated processing line that can punch, shear and bend raw material. 

With the Federal funds, Casasanta has added 15 full-time jobs to its current workforce of about 50 and nearly triple its supply chain purchases by 2021, sourcing all of its raw materials from Canadian suppliers
