As a Break Press Operator, you will be responsible to ensure that all finished products are completed with quality and using all tools appropriately.
Responsibilities:
· Set up, operate and troubleshoot break press
· Identify different types, grades, and gauges of sheet metal
· Adhere to manufacturing blueprints, specifications, and SOP’s
· Regularly inspect tooling for damages through cleaning and proper handling/storage
· Completing required inventory transactions, movements, scrap reporting, and part counts with accuracy within ERP/MRP System including part identification and safe part stacking practices
· Use of metric/imperial measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, protractors, rulers, etc.)
· Maintain all activities that are performed with high standards and quality
· Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
· Comply with all Health & Safety related policies, procedures, and safe work practices
· Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
· Ability to work with minimum supervision and initiate actions within the scope of authority
· Available to work additional hours when required
· Able to assist with other tasks that were assigned by the Manager
Required Skills and Experience:
· Technical program through College or University is an asset
· Minimum high school education (OSSD) or equivalent experience
· Minimum five (5) years break press operation experience (in a sheet metal manufacturing environment would be an asset)
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and initiate actions within the scope of authority
· Advanced knowledge of different types, grades, and gauges of sheet metal is an asset
· Experience setting up and operating brake press machines
· Experience with metric/imperial measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, protractors, rulers, etc.)
Effort:

As part of the Design and Engineering Team, the SolidWorks Designer will be responsible for the creation of technical blueprints, drawings and models for a variety of sheet metal components, equipment, manufacturing and assembly. As the SolidWorks Designer you will work to include product details, guidelines, information regarding materials, specific measurements and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Design of commercial and industrial equipment using SolidWorks
- Create manufacturing and assembly drawings using SolidWorks
- Creating sheet metal and machine component drawings
- Conceptual design of large-scale equipment from specified design parameters
- Preparation and checking of mechanical engineering drawings consisting of weldments, custom sheet metal components, piping, conveyors and electrical control assemblies
- Detailed calculations using basic engineering principles such as material density, structural calculations, combustion and mechanical movement
- Review design details and flag questions, conflicts or any inconsistencies
- Providing, maintaining and updating documentation content
- Work with Design Team to identify weekly production needs through Design Intent Meetings
- Partners with Manufacturing team for prototyping and equipment manufacturing
- Work closely with Management, Designers, Engineers and CNC Programers to create new and innovative designs and developments
- Adhere to all company policies and procedure

Required Knowledge and Experience:
- College Diploma or University Degree preferably in Engineering
- CSWP or CSWA Certification is an asset
- Five (5) years experience using 3D SolidWorks and AutoCAD in a manufacturing environment
- Five (5) years in an OEM or consulting environment
- Extensive knowledge of sheet metal design parameters, laser, punching and bending processes
- Eligibility to hold a Canadian passport and with the ability to travel when required
- Valid un-restricted driver’s license
- Extensive mechanical knowledge
- Proficient in both metric and imperial dimensioning
- Experience or Knowledge of SolidWorks PDM professional or file management system
- · 2D AutoCAD/Draftsight for layout drawings and other various applications is an asset

As a member of the Manufacturing Team, an Assembler is capable of working under constant supervision, in order to perform routine assembly tasks in a production line process flow for various metal fabricated parts.
Responsibilities:
· Remove punched/lasered flat parts from sheet metal nests, sort and inspect for edge and punch feature quality, debur, grind, accurately count and stack parts on appropriate pallets for downstream processes
· Completing required inventory transactions, movements, scrap reporting, and part counts with accuracy within ERP/MRP System including part identification, safe part stacking practices and final packaging
· Perform various assembly tasks which includes but is not limited to basic line work, and assembly/sub-assembly as per the production schedule
· Operate Surfox passivator machine, single station punch, and stud/spot welding equipment

As a member of the Manufacturing Team, a Welder A is capable of mig (GMAW) and tig (GTAW) welding practices while having advanced technical knowledge of products and materials.
Responsibilities:
· Coach and provide feedback to team members
· Mig and tig welding of all types, grades, and gauges of sheet metal or plate including all cosmetic applications
· Ensure supply gas bottles (shielded gas) are inspected daily prior to use and advise Lead Hand or designate of low inventory
· Select and prep materials for joining by measuring, cutting, and cleaning metal surfaces using scrapers or grinders to remove surface defects to specifications
· Inspect sub assemblies prior to final weld applications
· Use assigned jigs to build product to specifications
· Assess weld quality and conformance to specifications as outlined by blueprints through completion of first off inspections
· Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions
· Perform leak proof welding and leak detection procedures
· Operate Drill Press, Tube Bender, Surfox Passivator Machine, Single Station Punch, Bandsaw, and other entry level equipment as assigned
· Adhere to manufacturing blueprints, specifications, and SOP’s
· Willingness to learn and build new skills while contributing to our positive work environment

· Previous experience with various handheld, pneumatic/electric tools
· General mathematical skills in a manufacturing environment
· Familiar with metric/imperial measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, protractors, rulers, etc.)
