The Logistics Supervisor will oversee all warehousing functionalities within the Company which includes but is not limited to, shipping, receiving, inventory stock taken activities, order filling, returns, and transportation arrangements. The supervisor will direct, mentor, train, evaluate, and manage the shipping and receiving staff. The supervisor will supervise and coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments and the preparation of items for shipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Create and monitor the weekly shipping schedule for inbound and outbound shipments with the Logistics & Shipper/Receiver Lead Hand.
· Send out RFQ’s to Logistics companies for inbound and outbound shipments.
· Track and monitor and report to management the shipping/receiving budget.
· Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bill of lading, commercial invoices, customer invoices etc.
· Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies.
· Complete yearly application and compliance of the company CVOR.
· Oversee the creation of shipping labels and scheduled pickups.
· Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks and other conveyances.
· Communicate with the procurement department all deliveries and shipments per each shift, with accurate times trucks will enter and exit the facility.
· Oversee the inspection and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or other documents, record shortages and inform the procurement department of any damaged goods.
· Read production schedule, customer order work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
· Oversee the conveying of materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or lift truck.
· Oversee the sorting and place materials or items on racks or shelves, or in bins, according to a predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, colour or product code.
· Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools and other stock items, and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
· Oversee the assembly of customer orders from stock and prepare them to be shipped.
· Oversee inventory and stock taking activities including perpetual and yearly inventory counts.
· Mark materials with identifying information (Label).
· Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed and input in inventory system.
· Arrange stock parts in specified sequence and assembly by other workers.
· Scan bar code of purchase order with freight identification to record information (If applicable).
· Scan labels to identify the product (If applicable).
· Use software MRP/ERP to track, check, prioritize and route orders.
· Inspect label, barcodes and other features of completed orders.
· Supervise the lead subordinates (Shipper/receiver lead hand, shipper/receiver clerks and material handlers).
· Operate forklift, hand truck and other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods when required.
· Creates SOP’s for warehouse processes including standard packaging and crating needs.
· Maintains safe, secure, and healthy receiving environment by adhering to organizational standards and policies, and to legal regulations, alerting other regarding potential concerns.
· Provides shipping/receiving information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data trends.
· Adhere to all company policies and procedure
· Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
· 5- years of shipper and receiver experience in a manufacturing setting.
· Outstanding leadership and team-building skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Extensive knowledge of major couriers, including how to operate their respective software
packages.
· Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). a must.
· Experienced with preparing international shipments including customs documents is an asset.
· Ability to operate a Forklift and Pump Trucks safely and efficiently.
· Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to multi task and manage time effectively.
Effort:
· Frequent periods of mental and visual concentration.
· Frequent interruptions from employees and other contacts requires the ability to juggle several priorities and refocus quickly.
· Involves walking throughout plant.
· Volume of work is steady with periods of high demand and time pressures.

· Requires maintaining standards of confidentiality with respect to private information.
· Requires prioritizing assignments according to deadlines.
Working Conditions:
· Often work in indoor environments that dose not have air conditioning, such as the warehouse.
· Required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working in the warehouse.
· Some risk of exposure to dirt, grease, temperature, chemicals.
· May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.

A Gas Technician at LC Bakery Equipment Services is responsible for the servicing of commercial and industrial bakery equipment within grocery stores, bakeries, etc. Gas Technicians travel daily to service several locations throughout Southern Ontario.
Responsibilities:
· Travel to locations throughout Southern Ontario to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial bakery equipment
· Testing and replacing defective equipment or components
· Use diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to repair, adjust and reprogram equipment
· Replace damage or malfunctioning parts and reassemble equipment
· Prepare written accounts of work performed and materials/parts required
· Preventative maintenance, service and installation of bakery equipment
· Perform safety checks and ensure equipment is maintained as per TSSA regulations
· Installing and connecting appliances to gas, water, and electrical supplies
· Effectively communicate and update all information regarding assignments to the team
· Adhere to all company policies and procedure
· Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned

As a Machine Assembler you will be responsible to ensure the production lines under your assignment are executed, maintained, and running effectively throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, measurements, and parts lists
- Gather materials and tools to complete tasks
- Assembles components by examining connection for correct fit; fastenings parts and sub assemblies
- Maintains supply inventory by checking stock to determines inventory level; anticipating needed supplies
- Documents actions by completing Production and Quality Forms
- Learn multiple processes in manufacturing
- Maintain a clean workstation and contribute to a safe work environment and complies with Procedure, Rules, and Regulations
- Follow strict safety protocols
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related job duties as needed

Required Knowledge and Experience:
- One (1) year experience in Machine Assembly
- One (1) year experience reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics
- Technical knowledge of materials being processed

- A willingness to learn and work overtime when required
- Computer knowledge an asset
- Previous experience with an ERP System an asset
- Ability to read a tape measurer and use power tools
